What Does a Safety, Health and Environmental Officer at SANBS Do?
As a Safety, Health and Environmental Officer, your core role will involve supporting all safety, occupational hygiene and environmental practices.
You’ll be responsible for establishing and monitoring safety standards, processes, and training across the organisation. Your key goal is to ensure all legal and organisational responsibilities are met.
Typical duties include risk compliance, environmental management and overseeing waste processes. You’ll also handle continuous improvement, audits, and best practice implementation.
