Tracking & Tagging Specialist
Leverage your technical skills in analytics and tagging. Work hybrid. Enjoy growth, leadership training and international exposure in a vibrant environment.
What the Job Involves
You’ll act as the key technical expert for implementing and maintaining web and app tracking across multiple digital platforms, ensuring analytics data is accurate.
Using tools such as Google Tag Manager, Adobe Analytics, and more, you’ll build bespoke tracking solutions and optimise performance for marketing campaigns.
This includes regular quality assurance testing, and collaborating with development, legal, and privacy partners to ensure GDPR and compliance across all tagging.
Documentation is important, so keeping all tracking and tagging guides current will be one of your duties. You’ll also help define requirements for campaign success tracking.
Supporting business partners, setting up configurations, and troubleshooting issues form a core part of this role, requiring strong communication and technical skills.
Top Advantages
Among the big benefits, this role offers both a great salary and a hybrid work model, giving you flexibility for a better work-life balance with support and weekly PepTalks.
You’ll receive ongoing opportunities for professional growth, such as leadership training and industry certifications, helping you advance your expertise within the business.
The company fosters a supportive workplace through wellbeing programmes, international exposure, and inclusive staff networks, catering to a diverse team.
Regular cross-team collaboration ensures you never work in a silo, while robust documentation and process support ease your day-to-day challenges.
If you value personal and career progression, you’ll access development resources to help you succeed and grow in your position.
Possible Downsides
The hybrid structure may not suit applicants preferring either fully remote or strictly office roles, as expectations require some in-person collaboration at times.
As the specialist, you may find yourself stretched by high expectations for technical accuracy, extensive documentation, and the need to stay on top of frequent updates.
Implementing and troubleshooting tagging across complex setups can occasionally become repetitive or involve coordination delays with other departments or developers.
Meeting data compliance requirements creates additional process steps, making time management occasionally challenging when juggling competing project deadlines.
While cross-team communication is a plus, it can mean a heavy workload during peak project periods due to the scope and variety of responsibilities.
Verdict: Is This the Right Opportunity for You?
If you’re searching for a role that leverages analytics, offers room for career growth, and values work-life balance, this job stands out for motivated tech professionals.
While it’s a demanding position, the mix of flexibility, supportive culture, and genuine investment in talent development make it an attractive move for driven specialists.
